The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently donated vital medical equipment to two hospitals in Jamaica, including hospital beds, monitors, infusion pumps, and an ultrasound machine at Victoria Jubilee Hospital (the nation’s leading maternity facility). These gifts, made in partnership with Food for the Poor Jamaica and supported by Elder Ahmad S. Corbitt of the Caribbean Area presidency, will improve care for thousands of patients—especially mothers and newborns—while also providing training for staff. True faith shines through such Christlike service that relieves suffering and strengthens communities.
